Parking Lot Review

This movie did alot of things right. It brought in Beebop and Rocksteady and Casey Jones and Krang and a little Techno Drome. Shredder was better and there was little enough Megan Fox as April O’neil that I was able to enjoy myself. There is definitely fun to be had in this movie and they did a great job with the turtle’s respective characters again. Leo was a bit disappointing but every one else and their interactions together were great. So why the low rating? Everything else. The plot was rushed together without much explanation and Krang didn’t feel like the Krang that I know and love. A couple of the new characters just appeared without any story and you just have to go with it. If you are a fan of the Turtle cartoons and comics or even the original movies and video games it isn’t too big of a problem. I am a big fan and grew up with these toys in my toy box so I wasn’t lost but it still bothered me. Most of all, good movies shouldn’t require any disclaimer. Like, if your a fan of the cartoon or if your a kid you’ll really like this movie. A good movie is good no matter who you are. This movie isn’t good no matter who you are. so as much as it pains me to give my beloved turtles a poor rating, I must. With that said, if you want to see the turtles come alive on screen, get into crazy shenanigans and have awesome action scenes, then take off your critic hat, buy a bag of popcorn and have a good time with your family watching “Out of the Shadows” at your local theater.
