Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising Review

Directed By: Nicholas Stoller

Starring: Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Zac Efron

What do you know! A comedy Sequel that works! This is a great movie. It was funny and had some heartfelt moments that I really enjoyed. Couple that with the great plot of girls trying to set up a safe place to party and you have a well balanced comedy. I loved the feminism because who can’t get behind sorority’s being allowed to party? Who I tell you, who?! It shared many of the same points from the first movie but it didn’t feel like a boring rehash, it felt like an adventure and the story touched on some coming of age stuff that was really nice and unexpected. If you liked the first one you will like this one as well. R rated, like the first, so even though its still funny if you haven’t seen the original then you should know what you’re getting into if your bringing someone along who hasn’t seen it.
